How It Got Started

What is it that fuels you? For me, it's music. In May of 2020 I started thinking about finally writing a book I'd wanted to write for years. That book has been started and will hopefully see the light of day at some point. In the meantime I wanted to connect with other 90s music fanatics and give some love to the music that provided the soundtrack to our lives. Music seems to define people based on the generation they're from. As an 18-year-old college freshman in 1991, with a world of possibilities ahead of me, my generation was just about ready to be changed and defined forever.

Already a lover of music, myself and millions like me, were searching for our collective voice and it came crashing down on us like a tidal wave from Seattle, Washington. Although it was brewing from a the previous decade, when Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was released and "Grunge" was born, the lives of musicians, music fans, and popular culture was changed for good.
